Happy Scale - The Ultimate Weight Loss Management App


We all know that when you're losing weight you need all of the motivation you can get and Happy Scale is the perfect tool to keep you motivated. Personally, I've been using the app since April throughout this mini-cut.

I have found that Happy Scale is particularly useful for four reasons:

  1. Moving Averages - This feature allows you to track weekly, monthly and yearly moving averages to determine your average weight loss across specified periods. For example, if you see weight loss dropping below your commitment you may want to revisit your activity levels or calorie intake to determine the causes for this. 
  2. Incremental Weight Loss Goals - After you've set your initial goal weight the app intuitively sets 10 milestones for you to achieve. This makes weight loss equally realistic and challenging. Unlocking the next milestone really does feel like a true achievement.
  3. Set Commitments - When setting up the app it asks you to respond to a daunting statement 'I commit to lose...' it's then up to you to set your goal. The app then tracks what your current weight loss rate is and projects how long it'll take you to complete the next milestone - very motivational!
  4.  Easy Tracking - Despite the app requiring you to get on the scales every day the logging can be done within seconds. Being able to do this is far quicker and easier than keeping an excel spreadsheet and allows you to get on with your day!
