Assessing Personal Fitness Goals - My Experience
As you may have gauged from my recent update blog posts I have been sat within a mini cut phase for the past 4 and a half months aiming to pull off 10-12lbs. Last week I hit the magic 12lb mark which left me confused and without a goal. So what did I do?
Firstly, I took a screenshot within the 'Happy Scale' app to celebrate and share my success then I took some progress photos to compare where I was physique wise to previous years and weights.

Was I happy with the outcome? In short, yes. I was no longer bloated 24/7 or holding lots of water weight, my relationship with food had become a lot better and my strength in the gym was holding up relatively well. These were all of the reasons why I had decided to mini-cut.
At 180lbs+ I had found that my hunger and appetite were non-existent, my strength was stagnating and I felt as if I was putting on weight in the wrong places. Coming out of this mini-cut I have set several expectations and objectives just as I did with the mini-cut. Firstly, I am committing to taking monthly progress shots to assess and review body composition. On top of this I am dedicating time towards gaining 2-3lb per month (no more, no less) to ensure that my goal weight of 190lb doesn't get drawn out/I lose my re-kindled relationship with food.
Here's to the next phase!
